Important Highlights from our Service Agreement

Meet and Greet and Returns: All first-time clients must have an initial in-home meet and greet with Purr-fect Paws before any services commencing. The initial meet and greet is completely free. Any additional meet and greets will are charged at a rate of $22.00.

Payments, Early Returns, and Cancellations: Purr-fect Paws will invoice the pet owner before services commencing. Payment is due on or before the FIRST day of services. Should a client have a credit card on file, the credit card will be charged on the first day of pet care. Should the client return early, the remaining days will be put on account as a credit, assuming its following our cancellation policy. Purr-fect Paws does not refund. Should the pet owner return early and not inform Purr-fect Paws of their return and we make a visit, the pet owner will be charged for the visit. A fee of $25.00 will apply to all returned/NSF cheques. The Client is responsible for all costs of collection. 

Tips are not expected but are appreciated. 

Cancellations: Must be made before 8am of the same day of service for a credit to be applied to the Client's account 

Holidays Surcharge: Each visit that falls on the following days will incur a $10 per visit fee plus the regular rate of visits: Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, BC Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Years Eve. Each visit that falls on the following days will incur a $20 per visit fee plus the regular rate of visits: Christmas Day and New Years Day. 

Late Charges: If the invoice becomes 5 days past due date/first day of services, a $10.00 late fee will be applied to the invoice

Keys: Purr-fect Paws is authorized to enroll the Client into the key ready program. The Client agrees to provide Purr-fect Paws with 2 sets of the key to their home to keep on file for future services. Should keys not be provided, we are happy to accept a key lockbox code or a keyless access code instead. If only one key is provided, we will have a second copy created for a $10 fee. In case you live in a building with a fob, we agree to pick up and drop off keys each time. However, we will charge a $15 fee each trip. All keys are labeled with a random code and can not be traced back to the Client's house. If keys are not provided during the meet and greet, we will arrange to pick up your key for a $15 fee. If you'd like us to return your keys, we will do so in person for a $15 fee.

We do not accept keys hidden on-premises and will not hide keys in an unsecured location. No exceptions will be made - this is for you and your pets' safety

Refer a Friend Program: If an existing clients refers a friend and they use our services, the existing client will receive a free half hour pet sit/dog walk for every referral booked ($22.00 value)


Purchase supplies: $20 plus reimburse cost of supplies (if inadequate food or kitty litter has been left) 


Trip to Vet: If a pet needs to be taken to the vet during a service, a fee of $20 will be charged for transportation plus time spent at the vet. 


Home Services: Free - with any in home pet care service. Bring mail in, put garbage bins in/out, water plants, rotate lights and blinds
